What is a Connect Group? 

​

At Connection Church we believe community is where real life change happens. We were all designed with a desperate need for community. When we look at the book of Genesis, we see how God spoke about Adam's need for a helper, someone to walk alongside him. Connect Groups are not a replacement for our relationship with God, but they are there to help us grow to be more like Jesus. Connect Groups consist of 8-12 believers who meet weekly to walk through life together. These groups are designed to cultivate Christ-centered relationships that encourage, challenge, and focus our lives towards a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

What is the purpose of a Connect Group?

GROWTH

God desires for all of us to grow in our relationship with Him. We believe Community is where real life change happens. Connect Groups are where growth happens best, and where we learn how to tangibly be disciples of Jesus.

CARE

God doesn't want anyone to have to walk through life alone. This is why the Church was never intended to be an event to attend, but a family to belong to. This is what Connect Groups are all about.

MISSION

Jesus' last words to His followers were "Go and make disciples of all nations..." To follow Jesus is to live missional. God desires for every believer to to be a disciple maker. Connect Groups are a place for you to learn how to do this, and to live on mission with other believers.

Why should I join a Connect Group?

We were created to live in community, and community is where real life change happens. Community protects us from being isolated and vulnerable to the attacks of the enemy. 1 Peter 5:8 tells us that the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Connect Groups are not only a place where you are protected, but you are also loved and cared for.
